Regent Palms Turks And Caicos
Luxury travelers have long enjoyed the unparalleled beauty and crystal-clear waters of the Turks and Caicos Islands, but the arrival of the Regent Palms Turks and Caicos has added a new dimension of elegance and luxury to the experience.
Guests entering the open-air coral portico reception area catch their first glimpse of the level of style and service they will enjoy throughout their stay. The 12-acre beautifully landscaped estate features graceful architecture designed with proportion and flow that culminates at the stunning Grace Bay Beach. The coral stone edifices throughout the property lend it a classic Caribbean feel - open, breezy and spacious.
The property, which originally opened as The Palms in 2005, was purchased and upgraded by Regent Hotels and Resorts, reopening as the Regent Palms Turks and Caicos in April 2007. The multimillion-dollar facelift marks the Regent's debut in the Caribbean luxury travel market, and it includes extensive upgrades to both facilities and services, as well as a 20 percent increase in staff.
The heightened attention to service is immediately evident as a Regent Palms representative escorts guests to their suites, providing tidbits about the area and pointing out services and facilities. This immediate, friendly impression is the first of many subtle touches that make Regent guests feel comfortable and pampered in their beautiful surroundings.
The classic Caribbean feel of the Regent Palms' architecture and design extends to its public spaces. From the breezy, open-air manor house with lobby and reception area, to the two-story Mansion that serves as the social hub of the resort, to the walkways past upscale boutiques and through formal gardens, a carefree and elegant island atmosphere is prominent throughout the property. The layout of the grounds and landscaping promote tranquility and privacy, even a peak season, guests encounter little noise and few other visitors unless they seek engagement.
