Make your reservation and then confirm all details. Make sure names are spelled correctly. When purchasing air reservations confirm seat assignments. Purchase trip insurance.

Set up a honeymoon registry list of gifts you would like to receive, including lodging, airfare, romantic dinners and activities.

If you'll need foreign currency, exchange enough money ahead of time to get from the airport to your hotel.

Reconfirm all reservations a week prior to departure. (Reconfirm flights again the day before travel.)

Leave a copy of your travel itinerary and phone numbers with someone at home in case of an emergency.
