Hawaii Honeymoon Destinations

The Aloha State

hawaii sunsetThe islands of Hawaii
Many destinations offer warm ocean waters and spotless sandy beaches, but nowhere else on earth can you find quite the same experience as in Hawaii. With its majestic volcanoes and palm-fringed beaches, Hawaii holds some of the most superb scenery on earth. Hawaii is made up of eight major islands that include: Hawaii, Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Kahoolawe, Molokai, Lanai and Niihau.
Any island will offer a romantic Hawaii honeymoon.

Hawaii is a great place for a wedding. The islands exude romance and natural beauty, and after the ceremony, you're already on your honeymoon. More than 20,000 marriages are performed annually on the islands, mostly on Oahu; nearly half are for couples from somewhere else.

Hawaii (Big Island) - The Big Island goes by several nicknames, including Orchid Island, thanks to its tropical rainforests; and Volcano Island, a nod to still-active Kilauea. More than twice the size of the rest of the Hawaiian islands combined, the Big Island also encompasses 13,792-foot Mauna Kea, some months topped with snow. Idyllic beaches and several of the world’s finest resorts and golf courses line the Kailua/Kona and Kohala coasts.

Maui - Maui boasts over 30 miles of beaches. All of Maui's beaches feature sparkling crystal-blue waters and tropical trade winds. Maui could be called the activity capital of the world, with more than one hundred optional activities to be experienced by land, sea or air. Relax on the beautiful sandy beaches or explore historic Lahaina, once Hawaii's Royal capital and later a famous whaling town. Maui's beaches are known worldwide for their surfing and windsurfing conditions.

Oahu - A tropical island getaway with miles of white sandy beaches, pristine blue bays and lush rainforests. O'ahu is a rich and rewarding destination. O'ahu is the most diverse of the Hawaiian islands with a dazzling array of attractions, activities, and venues.

Kauai- Kauai, aptly nicknamed the Garden Isle, is the Hawaiian vacation destination treasured for its lush tropical greenery and sparkling sand beaches. Visitors to the island worship not only its postcard-perfect beauty, but Kauai's diversity of cultures, activities, shopping, and dining. The allure of the ocean, lavender hues of sunset, quaint and historic churches, seductive gentle breezes, grandeur of the mountains, pristine beaches make a wedding memorable -- and a honeymoon unforgettable.
