Romantic Honeymoon Planning Guide
|
Longer Trips, Blend of Activities and Destination Weddings.
About HoneymoonsThe average length of a honeymoon is about one week, but will vary from a few days to over a month! Before booking your honeymoon it is important to cosider your budget, how much time off from work you will have, and other factors such as sitters for children and any pets for the duration of your honeymoon. When trying to decide on a honeymoon destination, consider the places you have always wanted to visit and see if they appeal to your significant other. Certain destinations can be eliminated due to weather and climate (considering the time of year you will be honeymooning), if either of you have ever visited the place before, and if you will have enough travel time to get to and spend time enjoying this place. Honeymoons can be anything from a night in a Las Vegas honeymoon suite to visiting Italy for two weeks or a month long journey to some exotic destination. The honeymoon should be whatever the two of you choose together. |
Eight percent of weddings are "Destination Weddings" - wedding ceremonies that are combined with the honeymoon trip.
